When I first heard this song (I think it was last summer) I thought, "Alright. It's about time some of these rock-n-rollers started singing about politics." I seriously thought I would be hearing more of this kind of stuff as sort of a backlash against the Bush administration. It has proven to be an anomoly in the world of new rock as far as I know, because everybody is still singing about bad relationships and bragging about what bad-asses they are. Anyway, I think you'll dig these lyrics. They cleaned it up for the radio, but the theme of the song still got through. Here it is in its raw form.
