13. I used to love them

When I still took drugs, and I still do enjoy Pink Floyd on occasion.

Totally aginst all conventional wisdom, I actually enjoy the Grateful Dead more now that I'm not taking drugs. Go figure.

In my CD player at the moment, I'm listening to:
Zydeco/Cajun -- Beausoleil and Buckwheat Zydeco (maybe I took too many drugs)
Beatles
the Apocalypse Now Soundtrack
Jane's Addiction
Disturbed

And I actually just bought the remastered Dark Side of the Moon Album -- sounds great on 5.1. There's just a lot of bands/writers/performers I think are better.

At times that makes their songs really great. It's a strange paradox, don't ask me to explain. :D Their 'normal' albums post-Meddle are less interesting to me, but they don't suck as much.

7. I really like Pink Floyd, but...

My musical tastes are eclectic and ever-changing enough I could never name one band as "the best". I've never used any hallucinogens either (not that to I want to either). I prefer mind expansion though more drawn out and painful processes apparently.

...Dark Side of the Moon before voting in this poll. That DVD really explores some of the most widely influencial rock music in the business.

But, let's be honest, Coltrane wipes the floor with EVERYone sans Parker and Davis.
