Is the TV Theme song a lost art form?
In keeping with my television anthropology theme -

I maintain that, with just a couple of exceptions, the TV theme song is all but dead. I imagine it is owed to the fact that the days of 90 or even 60 second intros are gone in favor of just one more commercial....

What TV theme songs do you consider to be the best (or just your fave) and why?

As a side idea, what are your thoughts on theme songs that are intended to conjure the image of the actual characters singing it ---- i.e. The Jeffersons, Good Times
