1. It was like that yesterday in
Minnesota.

I find it interesting that all the yappers who insisted last winter that global warming was a myth because of some cold snaps are now silent about all the unusually hot weather all over the place.

Weather isn't the same as climate, of course. But still.

4. No, but this is a trend, not an isolated summer...and last winter was very mild
with only a few episodes of our crazy snowy blast conditions...we got by most of the winter on our wood pellet stove only, had the gas furnace turned off till February or March...Just had it cleaned and tuned up last week, geting ready for the cold.

2. any idea what your dew point is?
ours was around 80 yesterday - just miserable.
Maybe that chunk of Greenland will float your way.

3. In the mid to high 70's...(77 sticks in my mind) Is was like warm soup.
My back yard fig tree is 3 weeks ahead of schedule - picked about 6 pounds of figs today,and they don't normally ripen at all till the last week in August...I have been picking them since July 31.
