This is the way to go... 86-year-old guy got killed riding his bicycle. |
|
He rode 60-70 miles a week. It's sad that he died, but at least he didn't wither away in a nursing home. http://wcco.com/local/local.attorney.dies.2.1852839.html

1. Like my father: Heart attack while fishing for bass. If you gotta go, and |
|
don't we all gotta go, wouldn't it be good to go while you're doing something you like to do.

instead of screaming in terror like his passengers."

Last day there, was waiting for the ferry back to the mainland to come in, and this big herd of bikers who looked the way you'd expect bikers to look shows up on their out of central casting, "this is a motorcycle dammit!" bikes. If even one of them was younger than late fifties I'd be surprised, and it was clear quite a few were way, way past that.
And their bikes all had California plates.
If I wind up a fraction of that activity/energy/ohhellwhynot level by time I'm around that age I'd be pretty content.

7. Got a neighbor and fellow rider who is 72 and can drop me like he's Lance Armstrong. |
|
I met him out pedaling around one day. He was 69 then. Has a classic Bianchi from the late 70's. Amazing fellow.
I plan of cycling till I can't no more!
Wanna go now but it is 100F outside...damn you global climate change!

8. Dying at the age of 92... |
|
...in the bed of a 22-year-old Victoria's Secret model, shot to death by her jealous boyfriend. After the night's 3rd round.
Uh-huh, yep.
