It's been godawful hot and humid for days, and all that water that was floating around in the air is now falling on my house. It's like being under Niagara Falls.

2. We had some of that here yesterday.

I've NEVER seen it rain that hard in my life, and I've certainly never driven in rain that heavy before. My windshield wipers were going full-blast and I could still barely see. there was still standing water in some places around town this morning!
