knock on wood, this will be a tempest in a teapot
there is concern abt oil being blown into lake pontchartrain but we didn't get much w. alex and this doesn't look too impressive so far
gray skies but no wind or rain yet at almost 4 PM wed
it's possible this storm will be a non-starter
sandbags are being given out at slidell for those who need them

totally different. It had all the wind speeds a good 20 mph higher than the map shows now.
I never would have guessed that a map posted as a pic would actually be a live link and subject to change throughout the day.
But it's ok because it's current.
