Big difference from chess.
Also the reason to love an enemy, if you just elliminate them they are replaced by another enemy, if you make them a friend then you get something added to your group.
But the biggest correlation to go is an Highlander idea, where you take someones supporters.
If you can flip an entire block you can gain alot of supporters.
Very interesting post. Although my lack of beer shows I have no supporters so I don't play either of those games. Of coarse I never had any to start with so not a problem.
I play jacks and pickup sticks :)

I never won a single game, or even really came close. Guess the lessons didn't take. Either that or I just can't strategize worth a damn. :P
