| SF / Bay Area DUers -- time to get together! |

It's been a heck of a long time since we last hung out. KamaAina down in San Jose is looking to hook up with some local DUers and I thought it would be a great chance for all of us to have a good ol' fashioned DU get together! Plenty of the old crowd from back in the day still here and loads of new people. I am thinking about the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, or Sunday September 12th. We have an offer of a place to gather in Concord.

Concord is pretty much a full day trip from down here (light rail, express bus, two BARTs, and goddess only knows what once I'm up there, especially on Sun.) So doing it on a regular weekend would leave only one day of downtime. :scared:

For those who've never attended a gathering, just come. Many years ago, I was looking at one of these threads and just decided to attend not knowing who I would find there. I didn't know anyone on DU, but I just went and had a great time. We attended many anti-war rallies together.
