I'm watching James Bond trying to keep a nuclear bomb from going off in an air base. |
|
I hope he's successful!
I haven't seen this one in a long time, and don't remember if he saves the day or plunges the world into nuclear hell.

4. Yeah, it's Octopussy. There's a reason I've not seen it in a long time - |
|
it's a pretty crappy Bond. Has it's moments of real serious Bond goodness, but the constant campy shit gets in the way.

Pretty silly stuff, even by Bond standards.
On the plus side of the ledger, there's the lovely Maud Adams.

6. Roger Moore, except for Spy Who Loved Me, was the worst Bond. |
|
Even one-timer George Lazenby was better than Moore.

7. Yeah, he really was - he's a good actor, but wasn't a great Bond, |
|
and was further hamstrung by an entire series of scripts that were mostly fucking ridiculous. Except for, as you say, The Spy Who Loved Me, which is brilliant. I also really like Live and Let Die story- and writing-wise, but Moore doesn't really fit the role in that one like he does in Spy.
