Yes, I do make fun of Texas quite a bit, but... |
|
I tired Shiner Smokhaus beer last night. It was different in a good way I've never had a beer made with Mesquite smoked malt before. You Texans sure know how to make pretty good beer.

1. Texans sure know how to eat and drink well. |
|
Barbecued beef brisket. Football sized baked potatoes with everything on them---butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, AND beef brisket. Then there is chicken fried steak---real steak breaded and fried with gravy on top.
Oh god, I have to get on a plane and go back there NOW.

2. Thanks to the intervention of a certain tall, gorgeous Texan |

( :loveya: babe! ), Shiner Bock has become my favorite beer. It brings me great joy when I can find a six-pack in the stores up here in PA.:9

3. If you are flying in/out or Texas, order Shiner Bock - it FOAMS at 30K ft. You get a free one. |
|
No kidding. When the attendant opens it, it will foam like crazy. You get the original plus a second one free. If it is a long flight, you can order another one and end up with ANOTHER free beer. It works great.
