I've only had the papaya salad (Som Tam) in Thai places, so assumed. You know what they say about doing that....

21. I've had VERY GOOD Vegan Gwumpki!
IN Peace Corps there was another volunteer who was Chicago Polish, and she was also Vegan.

She used textured vegetable protein instead of meat

Oh, and it was SALTY as all hell, but in a good way :)

29. right on. I believe it as the flavor in most sausages is in the spices and some fat
maybe throw in some soy lips and butts for good measure. :D

But yeah, I've had excellent meat-free sausage and similar, so could totally see that working.
