There was a guy at the bus stop today with a dog

The dog wasn't displaying any service animal credentials and I thought to myself, does he know that dogs aren't allowed on the bus unless they are in a carrier? Then I figured he was just waiting for someone that gets off at the stop, so I didn't say anything.

We spotted the bus aways down the street, and this guy whips out one of those soft pet carriers, unfolds it...basically folded up his dog and put him in it. They boarded and sat down..it was a tight fit but the dog was not distressed in the least.

The dog owner and I happened to get off the same stop. He put the carrier down..basically "exploded" the dog out of it, and they went on their merry little way. It was so awesome!!

Leashed dogs are allowed on the city buses in aspen colorado,I wish they would allow dogs on the bus here in denver. I would consider getting a dog if I could take him with me. Oh well, plenty of other dogs around here to enjoy. :-)
