"What's the French for 'fait accompli'?" |
|

I got to say that in a meeting with my boss this morning, wherein we were talking about our Euro-colleagues' propensity for not sharing contract negotiations with us.
She chuckled, but more importantly, I cracked myself up.

4. One of my favorite reaction lines is... |
|
. . . . ..."Pretentious?" . . . . ..."Moi?" . . . . Or when someone uses profanity in an inappropriate situation... . . . . ..."Pardon my English." . . . . Two years of French in H.S. and all I remember is that Mrs. Opperman... curvy breathy micro-miniskirted Mme. Opperman was the only hot teacher at our school (of COURSE) and this sentence, "Je mange les legumes." . . . . French is such a sexy language that "Je mange les legumes" is the only thing you HAVE to know when whispering in someone's ear. . . .
