9. NO!
I hate horror movies...they freak me out.
:scared:
I clicked on a few of your links...felt unsettled, and moved on.

Your first post...the mirror.
Are you planting the seed of thought that we all reflect evil...perhaps unseen by ourselves, but noted by others?
I would agree with my assumption. I'm the most flawed person I know. Yet I am extremely judgmental of others. I always question their ethics...
In most cases, ethics are neither wrong nor right. They just are. Of course in extreme cases, one does not have to question ethics.

Just my 2¢ on senselessness ...

peace~

11. I don't like horror movies either
Wanted to make sure I was not being to hoity, or thinking to much of myself, so figured an opposite then usual posting was a good idea.

Helps to keep things in perspective.

10. Rando, are you having fun with yourself here? Well nothing wrong
with that, I guess.
Links? What links? I didn't see any links.
The funny thing about horror films is that they are supposed to scare you. Some people like to be scared.
So they go to a horror film and are ... scared.
If it's good, and if the suspension of disbelief is done properly, and works.
Try Stephen Kings Danse Macabre for a good description. And, guess what .. he knows about it.
The only book by him that I have read.
But I get the 'CHILL' channel. And stop on it from time to time, while surfing. Oh, gruesome.

13. I agree Steven King has heard many of the doctrines I have.
They are in many of his books. I assume that is what you mean by him knowing about it.

He has a slightly different view on some things, he does not really touch on gender paradigm for example.

I really don't talk much about many of the doctrines without mentioning the way out of them, and some of the proofs are really long. But know he talks about alot of doctrines.

In 'It' for example, he has the silver bike, and the 30 year timing, and forgetting. The concept of delusions.

Also he has toomey down really well in Langoliers, with him seeing people as monsters.

Stand is really interesting, has a bit of toomey, since it can be thought of as the people that died really being people that do not live by some views, often that is the use of that idea, like zombie films. He got the scouts correct. Got the deaf and dumb guy write, and the tone of the bad characters versus the good ones was really well done, although I think the lesson is to help people like Nadine and the disco dynamite guy, before to late.

Tek in that one story, good example of how some things move between people, and that is where I saw him use a better view of faith. In his older stories he had a blind spot on some views it seemed.

The Shine, some interesting thoughts on that.

Steven king knows alot, he knows many of the doctrines, he wrote about many of them.

I find Myst interesting, since I use to work at a grocery store, and especially liked the grocery guy going in the cooler and getting some beers, thought that was what I would do in such a situation.

I guess Shawshank was actually written by something else, and figure his books were part of the 'window' in Myst.

Lots of thoughts on his books.
