16. Be careful what you wish for.
I wouldn't want to be held responsible for people gouging out their eyes with melon ballers.

11. Wonder where he keeps his big pistola in that getup....

This is now called director John Boorman's "Finest Film"...I'm glad I missed the rest of them.

I somewhat remember seeing parts of Zardoz, but it was under somewhat stoned circumstances and it made little sense to me.

Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zardoz

Maybe I'll rent it on CD, if it ever made the transition....or maybe not. Not too crazy about talking heads.

19. Well, I do have a small one that I can carry in my pocket, but I sometimes
feel the need for a larger one that requires special equipment...

Just depends on the occasion and the circumstances...

24. Pardon? But a moment of seriousness.
Even though I am a huge fan of Zardoz, nobody in their right minds would call Zardoz his finest film.

Point Blank.
Hell in the Pacific.
Deliverance.
The Emerald Forest.
The General.
Excalibur.
Hope and Glory.

And furthermore, Zardoz isn't even his worst movie. Try watching Exorcist 2: The Heretic. Most theories are that Mr. Boorman may have had a bit of a drug problem for a time. It would explain some of his work.

He is an artistic kind of director and Zardoz was his attempt to make a literate SF film. He made the movie for a million dollars. Sean Connery drove himself and pocketed the money paid for a driver. He was a wee bit broke (and being a Scot rather tight with money) at the time.
