B-List Celebrity Smackdown! Stephen Baldwin says Miley Cyrus is "un-Christian".
http://www.comcast.net/music/blindedbythehype/5957394/baldwincondemnsmileycyrus/

Remember wholesome Miley? She may have been cloying, but at least she was age appropriate. Then that whole Daddy-approved Vanity Fair photoshoot happened in 2008, which she and her people immediately disavowed....

It was quite a statement and it's still unclear if it was the right one for Miley to make. Her all-grown-up persona hasn't won her many new fans and it's earned her some stinging rebukes, the latest coming from Stephen Baldwin.

Baldwin spoke to OK! Magazine about his disappointment in Miley, telling the mag that her recent performances are "un-Christian." He added, “I think as a person of faith she needs to calm down a little bit. That pole-dancing and all that, I think that’s not very good.” Baldwin's parting shot? “I’m sure it’s not in keeping with her faith.”

Ouch. How does Miley balance her Christian faith with her new image? Is it even possible? Do you think Baldwin's comments are fair?

:boring:

4. Maybe he's still resenting the tattoo--
http://www.hollywoodtoday.net/2008/11/14/stephen-baldwin-reveals-miley-cyrus-tattoo/

According to New York’s Daily News, Baldwin got inked with the “H.M.” as part of a pact he entered with the young entertainer when they met at the White House in spring 2007. Apparently, Cyrus, 15, promised Baldwin, 42, a daughter-delighting guest shot on the sitcom if he agreed to the fleshy tribute.

Though Cyrus approved of Baldwin’s extreme measures when the two crossed paths once again at a Nashville, Tenn. book signing Monday, a rep for Disney told the newspaper there were no plans to include him in an upcoming episode.

I have no comment about that. It kind of is what it is.

12. He was fun before he converted.
He had a bit of an edge, and did cool porno stuff like Zebra Lounge. he was never Geoffrey Rush, mind you, but still a bit more fun than he has been lately.

9. So people of faith aren't sexual beings?
Then where do we get all the *little* people of faith?

11. Nicean Christianity is based on a fear of sexuality...
...and in particular a fear of female sexuality. Now liberal believers have moved beyond that and feel that if god made them, he made their sexuality too.

10. Miley Cyrus is A- List, and Baldwin is Z List
I don't like her singing, although I think she is at least semi-talented, but I like her. She seems like a nice kid, she stays out of trouble, and she lost a bunch of fans when she came out for marriage equality, but she didn't back down.

Baldwin wasn't even good in the "Young Riders."

18. While Miley's music is not something a 2000 something year old guy like Myself would enjoy
she's still a kid, so I'll give her a break. Hey, eventually I forgave her dad for that mullet!

Steven Baldwin on the other hand.... he's just a total embarrassment to Me. I think I need to trick Satan into taking him back.
