My middle daughter's best friend had her baby last night - man is he cute.

My daughter just got back from visiting her in the hospital and had some pictures. The baby was born yesterday afternoon - 9lbs, 1 1/2oz - and he's healthy. Unfortunately, the baby is the result of her being raped by her boyfriend. I know the girl quite well and she'll be an excellent mother. She's got a good support system at home and my daughter has been an anchor for her all along. The high school has also been very supportive. She wanted my daughter to be there for the birth, but it happened rather suddenly after being two days late so there wasn't time to arrange that.
