1. BTW, #3 is from Family Guy.
Peter heard the phrase "shallow and pedantic" on TV. He then described Lois' meatloaf as "shallow and pedantic" without having any idea what it meant.

4. In case it isn't obvious...
Bronto ribs, Flintstones, title sequence.

Bachelor Chow, Futurama, Fry eats it while living at Planet Express.

Meatloaf, Family Guy, explained above.

Cheezy-Poofs, South Park, a favorite snack of Cartman.

Donuts, The Simpsons, Homer's comfort food.

Baskets, Yogi Bear, he's forever after them despite not knowing what is in them.

Hunny, Winnie the Pooh, a jar of honey has the mis-spelled label.

Spinach, Popeye, his magic strength food.

Anything..., Scooby-Doo, the reference to dog treats means the Scooby Snacks. The running speculation is that Shaggy and Scooby are a couple of paranoid pot-heads who always have the munchies.

Carrots, Bugs Bunny, he sings that song in one episode.

18. Oh, yes.
Popeye, in addition to being the deepest philosopher of comedic cartoons (witness his phrase on being and the limitation thereof), was also quite the wise nutritionist. I love spinach. Great stuff; healthy, too.

20. My preschool niece had an Easy Bake Oven...
.
.
.
.
.
...and she LOVED to make me "sticky beans".
.
.
.
.
I never asked.
.
.
.
.
But I LOVED to EAT them "sticky beans".
.
.
.
.
I would smack my lips and make nom-nom sounds and roll my eyes
and pat my belly and burp and just keep shoveling 'em in with
gusto.
.
.
.
.
At first, I think she looked at me with a little concern because
I didn't seem to realize that they weren't really there.
.
.
.
.
But she would keep making them.
.
.
.
.
And I'd keep smacking and nom-nomming and rolling and patting and
burping and shoveling.
.
.
.
.
After a while, she started making herself a "plate" of them at the
same time... and she would sit with me and we'd both smack and nom
and roll and pat and burp and shovel.
.
.
.
.
And giggle our asses off when her mom would come in to see what sort
of lunatics she had on her hands.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Uncle MiddleFingerMom has ALWAYS been my favorite job.
