I'm sure you've heard the "Hooker 'N Heat" album. For everyone else...

...In the song "Let's Make It," Hooker is cheering on Al "Blind Owl" Wilson on harmonica, yelling

"Alan! Alan! Blow your HORN, baby!"



...and that one snippet pretty much answers your question.

I read a joint interview with JLH and BB right before John's passing. It was an amazing summit between two giants. I really felt the loss when he left us.
