1. cannot wait for this....
The role seems perfect for her - she looks like a rocker chic. preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qq48HMQ3OFg

(I can't wait for the new Sherlock Holmes either. It's set in modern times.)

2. I saw her not too long ago
in another Masterpiece Mystery. Can't remember which one. I was so afraid they were gonna make her the bad gal, but they didn't. I think it was a Ms. Marple.

:hi:

14. I admit that I do watch a lot of crap.
But I look forward to Saturday (BritComs and Dr Who) and Sunday nights like a little kid. My man gets a kick out of making fun of me "you're such a dork" he says. Nothing wrong with being a PBS groupie. :P

17. It ended badly of course, for lots of people... (Spoilers)
:)

(SPOILAGE BEGINS HERE!!!)

(I'm not kidding - spoilage abounds!)

Anyway, Esme wasn't really Esme (I'm sure you saw that coming) but rather her younger sister who had been a backup singer. Fake-Esme was being groomed by that obnoxious promoter as a replacement to get the band back together. The promoter killed the 'orphan' because he was really the sister's grandson, and if she'd had something to live for she wouldn't have gone along with it. He killed the prof because she would have known from the voice. At the end, promoter tries to kill one of the old rockers - who knew Esme was fake because she tried to sleep with him, and since he's gay real-Esme would have remembered the disastrous time she tried to sleep with him - by shoving him in the macerator. Our Heroes dive in and save him (Hathaway is pissed about his ruined suit) and just as they have the promoter in cuffs the main old rocker comes out and blows him away with a shotgun (winging Lewis a bit, which makes him unhappy). At they end, they go to a pub where Lewis can make goo-goo eyes at the doctor, with Hathaway trailing behind like a sulky teenager...

Oh yeah - brainfried old rocker demonstrates that he can still play, but more importantly he has a heartfelt moment with Kitten (really his daughter) which is pretty tear-jerking.

16. I recommend a doc she did called "Northern Lights" link inside
I have included the first part, and another link where the other parts can be seen. It tracks her journey to see the Aurora. It is very well done.
