Cold Reality--you're fucked..

Being washed up on a deserted island means I made a navigational error and sailed our boat on to a reef. Alley will clear her throat and begin the lecture to end all lectures.. Death could not come soon enough..

5. That's why, whenever we go anywhere off road, I insist my wife look at the map with me
Even if she has no idea what she's looking at, I pester her until she agrees with a course - that way, we got lost... ;)

7. It means.
The movie castaway with Tom Hanks is a metaphor.

A metaphor for many forms of isolation, even when around many people.

And Wilson is a spiritual metaphor with the context of it is in your own mind.

Also has making it through the storm in that story.

Then he goes on the road, and delivers the package with gold wings on it.

Side note: Gulliver's travels probably the same thing. Although been rethinking a bit about the Whinam, note that they would not serve man, and degraded people. To be honest the Whinam in Gulliver Travels are fallen not heavenly by most portrayals. But then again, so are most of the representations in film, so you have to find a different way to look at them to learn anything.

Although they make some points that Gulliver did not internalize so still like the movie.
