Films in which someone dies impaled through the back of a skull on a coat hook? |
|
I can think of two, only one of which featured Randy Quaid: Midnight Express and Very Bad Things.
Others?

5. I was about to mention that one. |
|
It's a bit similar to Time Crimes from Argentina (also a good one).

9. That is a mark in your favor. |

I hated it, too. I couldn't tell if they were going for a dark, morbid style of humor, or if they were just idiots, but nothing about that film worked for me.

3. A Spanish film called "El Crimen Ferpecto" or "The Ferpect Crime". |
|
I think some English translations call it "The Perfect Crime" for some reason.
"Perfect" is deliberately spelled wrong in the original title, and if you see the movie, you'll know why.

I really wasn't all that surprised that Fozzy snapped like that. I still have nightmares.

10. The Shawshank Redemption, only |
|
it wasn't actually a coat hook, it was a poster, and he wasn't impaled on it, he just crawled through it, but it's pretty much the same thing.
