Rocky, Philospher Dog

Ever wonder about the meaning and purpose of life? My dog has been pondering the purpose of life and has concluded that it comes down to four things:

1) Chasing squirrels. Squirrels were not meant to be on the ground, so Rocky puts them back up in the trees where they belong.

2) Tummy rubs. This is self explanatory.

3) Licking my human's face. This is especially meaningful in the cosmic sense of things if said human is reading or asleep ... note to self: If human is asleep, stick tongue up human's nose.

4) Oh, and Tummy rubs. Self explanatory

Everthing else is just filler.

Sustained Bacon intake (or "bacon flavored" puperoni, though he says he is not sure how the get away with saying that) is obviously necessary to achieve a heightened state of canine awareness (though he is also in touch with his feline side) He loves Tuna and salmon - of course, he is just an old sea dog at heart - whereas most dogs bark, he says: Arrrrgh! Arrrgh! get that landlubbin' squirel back up in the yard arms where they belongs! Arrgh, Arrrrgh!.)

2. Rocky and my dog Buddy share the same philosophy about life...

Buddy loves to lick my face while I'm sleeping -- usually about 3am!
