I haven't craved a drink since the day i went to detox

This was my third visit to detox and it's sticking this time. I can have cash in my pocket and not drink it. It's nice! The only thing different this last time i went was they changed their policy when it comes to showing patients respect. The second time I was in detox they scolded and lectured me the whole time I was there.It really got bad as they were filling out my discharge papers,about 40 minutes non-stop. That worker had me so spun and stressed that I stopped for an 18 pack on the way home. Weak, I know.

You're so right about respect. It's kind of like my sales job...when they beat you over the head & constantly lecture you, it backfires and totally demotivates you.
