It's not true that there is nothing new to fry at a State Fair... |
|
the Texas State Fair now has fried beer.
Just what we need-- a piece of dough with a boiling hot liquid shooting out when we bite into it.
(I will not provide a link-- get your own at your own risk)

Terrible way to ruin two perfectly good things, fried stuff and beer. No no no, beer should be imbibed while eating fried stuff.

4. well, there IS beer batter |
|
and that is ok
Betty Botter had some butter, "But," she said, "this butter's bitter. If I bake this bitter butter, It would make my batter bitter. But a bit of better butter, That would make my batter better." So she bought a bit of butter – Better than her bitter butter – And she baked it in her batter; And the batter was not bitter. So 'twas better Betty Botter Bought a bit of better butter.
