1. My parents had this and it was hella cool for about the first 2.5 songs.
So that's how I voted. Besides, I was 8. But I don't think we ever made it to the second side.

2. My dear Taverner!
We still have that album, though we haven't played it in years, or maybe decades!

I love the music! Plus that cover is pure genius!

Thanks for the great memories...

:hi:

3. Just because something can be done
doesn't necessarily mean it should be done.

9. Ahhh now do you think the Moog 'ruined' Bach?
To me the perfect instrument to play Bach IS the Moog.

It can be anything it wants to be.

12. Bach would not have approved of the Moog
Edited on Sun Sep-05-10 07:03 PM by jmowreader
One note at a time is not enough for Bach, and Moogs sound like shit anyway. Bach would have approved of the Kurzweil 250:

Bach would have thoroughly approved of a machine that sounds almost exactly like a Steinway grand.

He would have rebelled at the fact it weighs almost exactly as much as one.

(Edited to put a picture that worked in...)

13. I disagree. I think he would have gone for the Moog at the time
And would have been happy to go Mini-Moog today!

4. The Clockwork Orange soundtrack is better, IMO
"Funeral for a Queen". "The William Tell Overture", and "The Ode to Joy"

7. She was "Walter" at the time she made this album.
The gender reassignment didn't occur until later.

11. William Carlos => Wendy Carlos
And if you saw her today, you'd never think she used to be a man
