5. "Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace--
and I picked up Franzen's The Corrections and actually, Gaiman's American Gods (which I through some cosmic occurrance or other hadn't gotten to, yet). Also, my husband picked up Stephen King's Under the Dome--which means I'll probably be reading that, too. (Yaaaayyyy--long books!)

I just finished Will Bunch's Backlash! and am working on a review of it. But a quick capsule--well-researched, well-written, a good answer to the question "Who are these people?" and I think pretty even-handedly done. Bunch spoke to people of several different "Tea" flavors, and I think did not once ask "And what the sweet whistling baby Mithras gave you that idea?"(or at least, out loud where people could hear) which is a hell of a lot more than I'd've been able to do.
