26. True, nothing was as commercially successful
But even before the "Stay Hungry" album, they had a very popular (in metal circles) single with "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaehBH7DtR4

And on the same album as We're Not Gonna Take It, they had "I Wanna Rock, which was huge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRwrg0db_zY

28. yeah, it's got that haunting, nostalgic feel all by itself
then when you couple it with memories, it just cuts into you, doesn't it? :)

I remember listening to it on a life-changing trip to Europe in college, so it brings back a lot of images.

29. I used to play Martha and the Muffins all the time when I was a college radio dj.
They changed their name in '83 or '84 to M&M and put out a pretty good album called "Mystery Walk".

This song is from that album:

We had an amazing college radio station, and I loved every minute of working there.

Thanks to Facebook, we are having a HUGE station reunion at Homecoming this year. I am going to see a lot of friends I haven't seen in years.

with years and years of albums out a one-hit wonder. I would define a one-hit wonder as pretty much the only song anyone has ever heard by the artist.

I was trying to come up with one, but being a survivor of the excesses of the 80's I can tell you the ol' memory ain't quite what it used to be.
Then, when I got into my truck to go to work, I turned to the 80's staion on XM, not for any other reason other then going through my various favourites on XM dial seeing what strikes me, and low and behold...David & David...
