Little ones first day of kindergarten today
No I didn't cry, there were some tears yesterday at the playground- that has been Josie and mine place to go since she was about 2.

Yesterday I realized that she was actually going to that school.

She got up great and had a full breakfast but apparently didn't eat much the rest of the day (lots of excitement and adventure) until dinner when she cleaned off her plate twice.

She will get the hang of it.

Nice menu at the school- tomorrow is almost exclusively vegetarian with black bean burgers being the only staple type meal.

She likes her teacher. No new friends just yet but it was just the first day.

Her first ride on a bus- the daycare bus, they have to wear seatbelts in that one.

:wow: she is in actual school!! :wow:

7. Wow...the years do fly by
Enjoy those school years. I sure did. Thanks to my weird work schedule, I was able to spend a lot of time volunteering at the school. Had a blast.

Mine were grown up and gone before I knew it.

8. Are we gonna have to show you some respect now?
Maybe call you "skivvies" or something grown-up like that?

Sheesh, I hope not!

So, when does she start driver's training class? Should be any day now.

:hi:

13. Amazing how time flies by
I've been on DU for almost 7 years now, and my daughter was less than a year old at the time... she is now in 3rd grade.

Good luck to your daughter in kindergarten.
