An inch of snow can shut this place down. It's not unheard of for school closings to be announced on the strength of a forecast alone. They sometimes don't even wait for the stuff to fall from the sky.

Rt104 from Oswego to Mexico. The lake is warmer than it's ever been, so it should be dumping moisture into the air like never before all winter. I'm laying in supplies because I expect we're due for a monster storm.

the last time it snowed in SF was in the late '70s -- and San Jose is slightly warmer.
It was, however, snowing up in Tahoe last week. :scared:
