1. For awhile I thought "The Devil" was some kind of satire.
Should have known better.

"So, you like no theater?"

"Yes."

"I like Noh theater better than Kabuki."

"So, Kabuki is your favorite?"

Her fave is "They tampered in God's domain."

6. Sixth Sense is the only one I've seen.
And I've seen way too many horror movies to be fooled by that one. I knew 10 minutes it into what was going on, the rest was just a struggle to get through. Since then I've had no real interest in him. There's way better horror out there than that, imo.

14. The Sixth Sense is a single screamer movie with a surprise anybody intelligent saw coming.
Unbreakable is the slowest comic book movie ever fucking made. And it makes the Fantastic Four franchise look intelligent by comparison.

Signs, is basically everything good completely ripped off of "The Night of the Living Dead" (down to haircuts and costumes in some places), and they've switched out the zombies for aliens, and added a bunch of stupid shit that doesn't make any sense at all.

23. Unbreakable also features a plot hole large enough to swallow a doublewide
the protagonist supposedly has osteogenesis imperfecta, or "brittle bone disease". Yet he is of full average adult height. In the reality-based world, OIs seldom grow to be even four feet tall; two of my favorite human beings have it :loveya: and they are 3'8" and about 3'6" respectively.

13. signs was meh
it had some great moments, like the handheld footage of the alien.

but there were plot holes 3 miles wide (aliens who are burned by water coming to a planet with water vapor in the atmosphere and which is 70% covered in water?).
