Childhood lessons that won't go away. |
|
I had four siblings, five uncles, eight aunts, and twenty-three cousins.
I learned to cook for large groups.
When I am in a cooking mood now days, I cook for ten to twenty people.
I can't stop myself.

1. If you've got a second fridge or a freezer, it's good: you just stack it in |
|
and it's there when you need it
Little $100 freezer in my basement is one of the best investments I ever made

Maybe it was what someone needed...

And I am still due beer and travel money, and they will pay.

5. I love group solitaire. That is when you get a group of 11 people with 11packs of cards in a circle. |
|
Everybody then sets up solitaire as you sit in a circle. Then you play and you can place your 2 of hearts on any ace of hearts in the middle. But chances are that somebody else will have a 2 of hearts ready so you have to be fast and all seeing. That also means you have to get up and run to the ace to put the card down on it (with 11 packs of solitaire set out you have a circle about 12 feet in diameter). It was a lot of fun on rainy days.
I hardly play alone solitaire anymore because it isn't as exciting as group solitaire.
