So I went to the bookstore yesterday
which in itself isn't quite a surprise.

This is what I bought

Mahmud Doulatabadi "The Colonel" - a book about a family in the Iran during and around the revolution in 1979. I couldn't find a link to an English translation. But a link with a very short biography about the author http://www.west-oestlicher-diwan-weimar.de/doulatabadi_en.html?iframe=true&width=100%&height=100%

Kathy Reichs "Spider Bones" http://www.amazon.com/Spider-Bones-Temperance-Brennan-Novels/dp/1439102392/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284021274&sr=8-1
YAY!! Finally a new mystery by her. I love her novels.

Terry Pratchett "I shall wear Midnight" http://www.amazon.com/Shall-Wear-Midnight-Terry-Pratchett/dp/0061433047/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1284021346&sr=1-1
A new discworld adventure with the young witch Tiffany Aching. I am still waiting for a new novel with the old witches.

I somehow had to smile about the combination of books I bought. That is what I wanted to tell with this thread.

1. Well, we all know how weird you are...
so that combination does not surprise me!:P

You know I love ya babe; just had to pull your leg a bit.

Sounds like an interesting selection there.

I just talked to my boss from the groceries store and I asked if it is possible to work early Saturday next week. Let's cross all fingers and toes that he will do it.

16. I have a short ride to work
of only about 20 mins on the train.

I was checking the schedule to see if I could find a team tonight, but the season has only 2 games left. It would probably be better for me to wait for the next season to start in about 2 weeks.
