Do what on Jesus? Yeah, a brainiac wrote this!
I wonder why it doesn't say that Halloween is Evil.

4. You're right; that one doesn't hold a candle to "The Good Little Witch"... |
|
the old Chick tract where the kid is killed by cultists. I guess this is the era of diminished expectations for even fundy lunatics

6. Sometimes it makes me feel sorry for them... |
|
Those guys really, really want to be persecuted for their beliefs. Now, I can KINDA understand that--they feel they should suffer for their Lord and Master. The problem is, when three out of four Americans self-identify as Christian (and 95 percent of the remainder are fine with that), it's very hard to be persecuted for being a Christian in America. So...they have to change the definition of "persecution" to include things like not being allowed to spend ALL the public's money on their belief system.
In fact, I would be MORE than happy to allow them to set up a creche in the public square: Christmas is after all one of the two main Christian holidays, creches are pretty, they're traditional for that time of year, etc., etc., etc. The problem with creches is, you allow the Christians to set one up and they instantly decide "you allowed us to set up a creche, so you certainly must have NO problem with us bulldozing those guys' church and banning abortion because those things are against our religion." A classic case of you give them an inch, they take five miles.
