Summer kissing Fall. (pictures)
Spent the day just walking about. A few shots.

I followed this bee for a bit. (it was following me first)

4. Twas a nice bee indeed...didn't sting me. :)
Not my flowers. Just flowers growing on the trail.

The tree made me happy...not the picture...the tree...so I had to have picture of it. Didn't do it justice.

Make honey while the sun shines!
I went to see some bees today, too, at a celebration of the opening of a new garden planted just for the bees (and their insect and hummingbird friends) at the University of California, Davis. Well, people are invited to enjoy the garden as well, and learn about bee-attractive plants to add to their gardens.
I had a sample taste of Lavendar, Sloughhouse wildflower, Avocado, and one other honey, the source of which has slipped my mind, each a unique subtle flavor along with the sweetness.

21. Nah...they were swimming in front of lions. :)
During our walk we ended up at the zoo for a quick trip. We had been up Philosophers' Walk earlier. Traveled some by car and then got out and walked some more. (along the Neckar to watch the boats, the Walk, shops, etc.) We covered a lot of ground. It was a beautiful day and we just wanted to be out in it.

I could watch koi all day. Peaceful and calming. I'm envious of your pond.
