| My car broke down this morning... |

it's been on its way out for awhile (it's a 1990 so...) but I was hoping it would last another month or two.
I had a mini nervous breakdown and then emailed my boss to tell him why I wouldn't be able to come in today (I have an hour commute so...).
He's lending me $1,000 toward buying a new car. Just like that. I didn't ask, he just offered.
Just another reminder that there are still good people, and good employers, out there.
