This is so eerily accurate, it could be a documentary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2hRApdLADA

from an old Lubbock musician friend, and most of the others he sent it to were Texas music people too. Must be making the same rounds. Pretty damn funny. I've had a guy yell at us to turn it down while we were still unloading/setting up at a wedding in Roswell ,NM and also remember eons ago, playing a place in Telluride, Colorado ( a multi-nighter; can't remember ; at least 3 though) where we kept being told to turn down and finally the last set of the last night, we just unplugged all the amps and mics and did that last set that way. Got paid and not shorted or anything so fair enough I guess. And I bet both of us could practically retire if we'd charged for every time a drunk wedding guest got up to sing.

2. And then there's the groom's brother who must sit in because he is an "awesome drummer". |

Which, of course, only really means that at one time he owned a drum set.
If allowed to get up and destroy "Mustang Sally", he will naturally get more applause and respect from the guests than the all the rest of the band combined.
