**Except when Sunday Girl threw some sweet shrub down to River and he ate it. Dog was hallucinating. Had to have his stomach pumped. Also, when he got the bottle of pills (Sunday Girl threw those down to him too) and ate them. Had to have his stomach pumped again then. Other than those two times, it was always, "This, too, shall pass."
