Funny story about ethnic diversity in the USA.
When I was practicing law in Toledo, OH in the '90s, there was a couple who came in to settle an auto accident claim. They were ethnically Japanese and spoke with a thick Japanese accent. We discusssed the case and their desire to settle it quickly.

"We're not from around here," the man said.
