A truck hit my house today

I pull into the driveway with Josie and I see that half of the porch railing is scattered around the front of the house.

Apparently a friend of my neighbour (not across the street but across a side street) was to meet my neighbor for lunch and his truck slipped into reverse ...came through my yard missing the big tree... turned and tore off half of my porch. It is a concrete porch so just the woodwork was trashed. It hit the right side so it spared the flag. Old Glory is still waving proud.

The guy left a note and just came by. Must have been 6'8" nice guy actually. He reported it to Geico.

If it hadn't been for the porch we would have at least lost the window that is right beside me right now.

As Josie and I walked up to it from the driveway I was laughing and let a WTF slip.

Josie, "What does 'What the #^&+ !' mean?
Me: "Honey that is NOT a word you should say"
