2. The 15 years before...lol
I am not a big fan of most new stuff but a kick ass music pause occurs at 58 seconds into this video. I knew this song was great when I first heard it three years ago while flipping through stations on a long drive. Now it is the theme song to my wife's favorite TV show and it is featured in a TV commercial.

And Chuck's girlfriend is a hottie.

Cake - Short Skirt and Long Jacket

6. Do You Know What I Mean - Lee Michaels
And then she said
Lee you haven't loved me in nearly four years
You haven't noticed that I held back my tears
And now you have, but it's really too late
Better find yourself another girl
Better find another girl
Better find uh, another place

it's long enough that radio station alarms would go off because it was deemed 'Dead Air'.

22. I don't know. But I can tell you about the best musical pause I've ever seen.
Choir practice for the annual Christmas cantata. The choir gets to the final verse of the Hallujah chorus. It's glorious.

And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings! and Lord of lords!
And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings! and Lord of lords!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

The choir director call a halt and bids everyone a good night.

One missing Hallejah drove many people over the crazy cliff that evening.

23. Can we count the musical pause
in The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" just before the fabulous Roger Daltry Scream???

I hope I have that all right

25. That's how I remember the 45, but there isn't really a pause in the LP cut
which certainly doesn't make the scream any less awesome.

Still gives me shivers.

Somebody started clapping at a performance I attended. Wanted to throttle him.

27. Not so much of a pause
But more of a short "breath" in Vanilla Fudge's version of "You Keep Me Hanging On" , right at about :49-50. It doesn't really stop because there's a little slide up lick on the guitar, but the way they are in no big rush to start into the verse and manage to stay behind the beat...it's always been magic to me.
