1. Sorry to hear that.
Seems like this whole summer has been nothing but bad news about cancer. It's getting pretty old, pretty fast.

Best wishes to you all.

10. I'm so sorry to hear that
he and you are suffering. Hospice will at least keep him comfortable and out of pain, help with all his daily needs and also be a comfort to all of you.

Wishing him safe passage and some quality time with all of you beforehand. Even if you feel he's not conscious of you being there, it does seem that they know. Will do you both good to talk to him regardless of his condition.

Sending hopes for a peace-filled atmosphere as he makes his way from this life.

13. I'm sorry, Parche
You've had too many big losses in the last few years.

My uncle (liver cancer) had hospice the last few weeks and it was (all things considered, of course) a very good experience for him and his family.

16. I am very sorry about yours and your dad's suffering...
.
.
.
...though with the help he's getting, I hope his is minimal.
.
.
.
His choice shows strength... and courage.
.
.
.
If you have the chance... tell him the things you remember about him
that you love the most.
.
.
.
Even if he SEEMS not to be there, when MiddleFingerMomMom went along
that path, I always felt that deep down a part of her was still there...
still listening... and still loving.
.
.
.
I think he'll hear you... and I think it will do you both some good.
.
.
.

17. So sorry to hear this.
I am not sure how to say this, but the last few days or months can be a very sweet time.

I wish your Dad peace, please find peace in your Dad's choice.

My Father also has made this choice, no more medical treatment if he gets ill again.

Damn I am crying typing this.

Hospice people are very special, angels.

Enjoy this time with your Dad.

I wish him well on his journey.
