I don't particularly like this facebook thing. I've been almost 5 days not smoking. And I've been on the intertubes fighting with stupid rethugs all day.

I'm beat and discouraged.

I don't know when people got so rude and nasty. I've had conversations with Republicans/Conservatives and it never turned into the angry nastiness I'm seeing these last two years. These Republicans aren't like the "old school" guys. This new breed is really scary.

I really enjoy facebook. It's a nice cross-section of my family, my DU friends, and my poetry friends...

4. join like-minded groups...there are plenty of friends to be made in the groups

there are groups for almost everything under the sun.

i found one group after the San Bruno explosion and they've been a great resource for local information and have even created and posted maps of the pipelines in the area (i'm in the area).
