Poll question: Soylent Green is...

It's people. Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people.
Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. You've gotta tell them!
You tell everybody. Listen to me, Hatcher. You've gotta tell them! Soylent Green is people!
We've gotta stop them somehow!

13. I pissed off everyone in the theater.
I spoke rather loud.

I must have been in high school, I quess.

I do remember in the movie that the rich had private farms for food.

Profit is profit, greedy companies.

7. I loved that movie. I think it was one of the reasons
that I have been so fierce about the environment. I just thought about this movie recently, with the BP spill destroying the life in the gulf.

11. Chill, definitely. I guess I like movies with a chill factor.
Not real yet, not quite there, but I still have nightmares of this coming one day. We are heading in that direction.

Is not starving the poor for profit a form of cannibalism? Economically, at least.
