1. Peggy Lee is one of my all time favorites |
|
When I was a kid, my mom would put on the Peggy Lee record and dance while cleaning the house. She always started with Fever and Is That All There Is would play after.

3. I like Fever, what a song. |

Is That All There Is is a special song for me.
I discover this song when my Aunt who raised me became very ill when I was 13 years old.
She passed away a few years later, a slow painful death.
This song stayed with me all these years.

7. I have a similar response, and for very similar reasons. |

Its strength does seem to lie in its combination of sadness and determination. Sometimes you think you'll die, and you don't, and that's wonderful but leaves a mark too.

I would play this song, and I would feel better.

I would have a beer with you, but alas, have not had that issue corrected yet, but enjoy your drink of choice, and an extra temporal, :toast: to you.
From when I do get the beer and travel money, and many good times that I will have :)
