Copyright was originally used to give some reward to innovators, it has been stretched to a point to be only a way to funnel money to a few people, not for its intended purpose, all movies and stories over 20 years old should be able to be posted without any claim of infringement.

You literally should be able to find every movie and story told over 20 years old free of charge in many forms of information exchange.
