Philly Eagles fans in a lather over who should be the QB...after 2 whole games! |
|
Many here were really agtitating to get rid of McNabb, the winningest QB in team history, because he had never won a Super Bowl. They were fired up for his replacement, Kevin Kolb, till he sucked in his first start in game 1 this season. Kolb got knocked on his head and concussed, putting Michael Vick in as QB. He didn't win, but he looked better than Kolb, and he won yesterday's game vs the feared Lions, so there is now a Vick faction who wants him to be the starting QB. There is of course another faction who want Kolb, who will start again next Sunday at Jacksonville. And there is yet another faction who wants McNabb back, and even a few who are fans of 3rd string QB Mike Kafka.
There are also those who want to fire Andy Reid...

1. Can I just say better you than us? |
|
This has got to be the first time in 15 years that there is NO quarterback controversy in DC. None. I'm enjoying that (even if I'm a bit aggravated by losing that game yesterday, d'oh!)

2. One hell of a game, though - I am still following Donovan, and I will predict |
|
he will do a great job for you and he will become beloved there.
He is a GREAT QB and a really decent man, and you guys will do very well this season. Not so sure about the Eagles, though...
But Dallas? Can you feel the sucking start? :D

4. That was one hell of a game. i know I predicted that DC would lose a lot this year |
|
but I didn't expect them to play a top contender into overtime to lose. That's a different team than played the beloved Cowboys the week before. Even more reason to be scared.
Sadly, the beloved and glorious Cowboys were the same team this week. :( Luckily, they are only one game out of the lead. :) Sadly, Jason Garrett is still coordinator. :(

5. Your post makes me laugh... |
|
Rollercoaster emoticons will come in handy for you this year, I fear. And yeah, while I'm not a fan of Tony Romo, I do think that the Boys have two BIG problems: Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett.

6. Yeah, I got the smilies and frownies ready. |

Phillips is a great defensive coordinator. He could be a decent coach if he had an OC who could do more than design trick plays. He still sees everything in defensive terms, though, so I wouldn't be sad to see him go.
