This has nothing to do with the NY Post, owned by MURDOCH's NewsCorps. I first got hooked to the gossipers on the E!1 network where this one and Liz SMITH (who called herself the only Democrat at the Post) did a show. When they went off the air, I tracked them down and they happened to be at MURDOCH's Post, where I also started looking at Page Six. I have posted political tidbits from these gossipers ever since, despite criticisms that 1) it's MURDOCH and 2) they are (GASP!1) lowbrow GOSSIPERS!1 My counterpoints have been that: 1) MURDOCH does not dictaphone these people's columns. 2) "Gossip" does NOT equate with "UNtruth." In fact, the dictionary definition is about something private being told, scandalous, but NOT UNtrue. Plus, these old style gossipers (I include the wonderful Kitty KELLEY) are more "journalists" than Tweety or tons of other political yakkers. Also, more often than not, tidbits in their columns turn up MONTHS LATER as being true and in more "respectable" venues. As for La Cindy, despite her being a wingnut in her voting, she swims the cocktail circuit and pals with everybody from all political sides---is pals with Teresa KERRY as well as with the PATAKIs. Anyway, I noticed her column was not being updated a couple or three weeks after it disappeared, and for, lo, these four months there was NO WORD about what had become of her. Well, a couple of words that she was mysteriously sick, but cynics might say that was always the case.

Notice her poisonous dig at the people who did NOT send her good wishes at the end of her column.

Sharp-eyed readers may have noticed that dog-loving New York Post columnist Cindy Adams has been absent from the paper for months. She was sick! Now she's back! With a deeply disturbing column of hospital erotica.
Cindy says that starting last February, she "didn't eat for two months," and ended up being rushed to the hospital. There, her tale takes a turn for the sexxxy:

"I became feverish. Nurses and my housekeeper, Nazalene, washed and changed me each minute. Three pints of blood were administered. I was wheeled through tests and machines. A team was summoned. Barring the token gentile Dr. Turner, I doubt there exists a non-Jewish M.D. I remember Feingold, Moskowitz . . . anyhow, more guys than at Johns Hopkins had their hands in me, up me. The hospital's excellent. The team kept me alive. But they fingered areas I never knew I had. My private parts hadn't had this much attention since my wedding night."

Also, Cindy Adams' legal guardian is Judge Judy. Only in New York, kids.
