The win/loss record doesn't show that though.
I'm not one to support the Saints just because they call New Orleans home... Objectively, I think they were outplayed for 57+ minutes.
Congrats to Drew Brees and the Saints for not losing sight of the goal, which was WINNING. They possess a quality that the 'Niners lacked tonight.
Oh, and Best Wishes to Reggie Bush and high hopes that his injury isn't too bad.

I am not from NO or anywhere near there but I love those Saints. My friend is a Saints fan. To be honest he has converted to be a football fan.

Niners are a good team, but you're right, they're a long way from promising the playoffs. On the upside, they have talent and are in a weak division.
